Vantaa offers free-of-charge city-bike season in honor of its 50th anniversary
The city-bike season begins again in Vantaa on April 1. This year, the city provides the service free of charge! Vantaa celebrates its 50-year-old journey as a city, in honor of which, the city offers its residents and other people visiting Vantaa a free-of-charge 2024 city-bike season.
Train strike affects travel to educational institutions and daycare centers on February 12th – February 13th, 2024

A service fee is charged for travel card top-ups as of 8 June 2023
HSL will introduce a new service fee at the beginning of June. The service fee will apply to service point customers who have the option of topping up their HSL card or updating their customer group online or by using self-service tools, such as a self-service machine or the HSL app.
Vantaa City Council decided: Vantaa to build the light rail
Vantaa City Council decided in its meeting on May 22 on building Vantaa’s first light rail. Building the light rail can begin in the fall of 2024, and traffic is estimated to begin in 2029.
