Child friendly Vantaa to receive an action plan of its own
Vantaa City Executive Board had its last meeting this year on December 12, 2021. The meeting ratified the City of Vantaa’s Child Friendly City 2022-2023 action plan, confirmed the results of the youth council election, and decided to apply for membership in the EU Commission’s 100 Climate-Neutral
The European Rising Innovative City
City of Vantaa is the European Rising Innovative City.
The Child Friendly City Initiative
The City of Vantaa is now a Child Friendly City. Finnish Committee for UNICEF granted the City of Vantaa the Child Friendly Cities recognition in January 2024.

Residential activities at Katrineberg Manor will end in the course of spring 2026.
