The proposal for the terminus in the airport's core area, created by the Vantaa light rail alliance in cooperation with Finavia, has been completed. The proposed terminus is located on Terminaalitie. The Vantaa City Executive Board will address the proposal on June 8, 2026.

Jumbo Shopping Centre to have a new library

Vantaa City Executive Board approved in its meeting on October 20 the needs assessment of Jumbo library. The new Jumbo library will replace the small and impractical premises of the current Point library. The new library will also meet the need to develop library services in the Aviapolis major

In its meeting on September 22, the Vantaa City Executive Board decided to submit the alterations to the local detailed plan for the daycare centers at Lounaniitty in Vantaanlaakso, Talkootie in Vaarala and Louhela in Myyrmäki for the city council’s approval.
