Excavation works completed at Rivieranraitio
A significant milestone will be reached this week in the construction of the future tram street connection at Rivieranraittio, as the excavation works in the area are completed. A few final blasting operations will be carried out during the week, after which the excavated rock will be transported away from the construction site. The completion of the excavation phase enables the project to move forward to the next stage of construction.
Next week, the transportation of excavated material and earthworks will continue in the area. Once these activities have been completed, the installation of groundwater protection structures and cable conduits will begin. The works are progressing according to plan, bringing the project another step closer to the future tram connection.
