Hepopolku Bus Stop on Hakunilantie Returns to Its Original Location on 14.9.
The new street connection being built on the eastern side of Hakunilantie has progressed to a stage where the Hepopolku bus stop can be returned to its permanent location. At the same time, the temporary bus stop used during construction will be removed from service. The final bus shelter and surface structures of the waiting area will be completed later as part of the finishing works in the area.
Bus Stop Relocation and Traffic Arrangements
In connection with the relocation of the bus stop, vehicle traffic will be shifted onto the new traffic lanes on the eastern side of Hakunilantie. This will enable the next phase of the project to begin and allow the construction of the tramway on the western side of the street to commence.
The locations of both the temporary bus stop being removed and the new permanent bus stop are shown on the map above.
