Room for new players in school children's free-of-charge football and other ballgame groups
There is room for new players in the free-of-charge sports groups for students in Hakunila, Tikkurila, and Myyrmäki junior high schools. Hobbies are free for all Vantaa junior high schoolers.
The City of Vantaa offers Vantaa children in elementary schools a possibility of engaging in a free-of-charge hobby. There is currently room for new players in Vantaa of Many Hobbies groups, especially in football and other ballgames for junior high schoolers. Participation in the hobby groups is free of charge. Read more about the groups below. The enrollment forms are only available in Finnish.
Football in Hakunila and Myyrmäki
You can play football or practice in football hobby groups. We wish that participants bring their own football, but you can also borrow one. There will be no hobbies during school vacations.
- Mondays at 15:30 -17:00 Hakunilan jalkapallohalli (Hakunila Football Stadium). Enroll here
- Thursdays at 15:30-16:30 Myyrmäki Halli (Myyrmäki Hall). Enroll here
Ballgames in Tikkurila and Myyrmäki
If you are interested in ballgames, you can test various ballgames in Myyrmäki and Tikkurila hobby groups. There will be no hobbies during school vacations.
- Ballgames for 6th – 9th-graders: Thursdays, at 16:00-17:00, Myyrmäen urheilutalo. Enroll here
- Ballgames for 7th – 9th-graders: Mondays at 15:30-17:00, Tikkurilan Urheilutalo (Tikkurila Sports Center). Enroll here
The City of Vantaa offers Vantaa children in elementary schools high-quality, pleasant and free-of-charge hobby options near their own school and home. The activities are part of the national Finnish model for promoting hobbies.
