We are building a new roundabout at the southern end of Ratatie
Vantaa Light Rail works are ongoing in Tikkurila. We are also constructing a new roundabout at the southern end of Ratatie, at the intersection of Tikkurilantie and Neilikkatie. During the construction of the roundabout, the eastern end of Neilikkatie is closed to vehicle traffic, and alternative routes are available via Kielotie and Talvikkitie.
The map shows the traffic arrangements for the new roundabout, which will be completed by the end of the year. Vehicle traffic routes are marked in blue.
Construction of the Vantaa Light Rail is ongoing in Tikkurila. As part of the project, we are building a new roundabout at the southern end of Ratatie, at the intersection of Tikkurilantie and Neilikkatie. The roundabout will improve traffic flow in the area.
Construction began at the turn of October and November 2026. According to current plans, the roundabout will be completed by the end of the year. During construction, the eastern end of Neilikkatie is closed to vehicle traffic. Alternative routes are available via Kielotie and Talvikkitie. Pedestrian routes will remain available, although minor changes will be made. Detailed routes are shown on the map and signposted on site. We apologise for any inconvenience. The works have been commissioned by the City of Vantaa and are carried out by Destia.
