Special group discount cards

Show your gym membership card for special groups to purchase a serial pass of 10 or 25 times or a monthly pass (1, 3 or 5 months). The product you select will be loaded onto your access badge (EUR 5,50). You can purchase additional times or gym time by showing your gym membership card for special groups. 

You are entitled to also use the swimming pool at the end of your gym training. The card does not entitle you to only use the swimming pool. You can also use the gym during special groups’ gym slots, if your health requires it. In certain cases, your assistant's entrance fee is included in the price. 

To start training at the Koivukylä Senior Centre gym, you need to go through several steps. First, pick up a gym membership card for special groups (photo ID) at the checkout of a swimming hall (see the instructions above). Next, get a gym access badge at the Vantaa Info centre of Tikkurila (EUR 5,50). Do not lose the access badge number. You can load monthly value (1, 3 or 5 months) onto the card. 

Once you have received your access badge, you can purchase more gym time by showing your gym membership card for special groups at the swimming hall checkout or Vantaa Info centre. You are required to give the number of your access badge at the checkout. If you have lost the access badge number, you must purchase a new access badge. 

If, for health reasons, you are unable to use the gym independently, you may be entitled to an assistant benefit. This means that you can have an assistant accompany you free of charge. 

Intellectually disabled, people with cerebral palsy and visually handicapped are entitled to the assistant benefit. You may also be entitled to an assistant on a discretionary basis. In such cases, please contact the coordinator of adapted physical activities. 

Holders of the EU Disability Card (A) are also entitled to an assistant. For the detailed terms and conditions, please visit Kela’s website.

• You cannot purchase a gym membership card for special groups with sports vouchers or similar payment instruments. 
• Customers are not entitled to compensation for annual gym downtime or refunds. 
• Do not dispose of the receipt. If you lose your access badge, the remaining value of the lost access badge can be loaded onto a new one. You must purchase a new access badge. If you lose your access badge to the Koivukylä Senior Centre gym, you must have the access number to transfer the remaining value onto the new badge. 

A special swim pass is a photo ID. You can get it at the swimming hall checkout. In special cases, you will need a permission from the coordinator of adapted physical activities. 

Show your ID and a document proving your eligibility for the card at the checkout. Make sure to bring a passport photo for the card. By showing your special swim pass, you can purchase a product that covers your swimming hall entrance fee. The pass remains valid for one year and you can use it once a day. In certain cases, your assistant's entrance fee is included in the pass price. You can also use the swimming hall during special groups’ swim slots, if your health requires it. 

Swimming time will be loaded onto your access badge (EUR 5,50). Show your pass to purchase more swimming time.

Please note that school-age children must use their own gender’s facilities. If your assistant is of a different gender, check out the availability of sauna slots for special groups at the swimming halls of Myyrmäki and Trio. 

Use the EU Disability Card issued by Kela to prove your disability and need for an assistant. The card is valid for ten years and entitles you to have an assistant accompany you to the swimming halls and gyms of Vantaa free of charge. We require that the assistant accompany is an adult.

Sporttikortti 70+ is a sports pass intended for people who have turned 70. The card entitles you to free access to the swimming halls and gyms of Vantaa on weekdays before 16:00. The only exceptions are the Korso Swimming Hall and Koivukylä Senior Centre gym, which you may use at any time. 

The validity of the sports pass is indicated on the pass. The pass remains valid for a maximum period of three years. 

You can get and renew your sports pass at a Vantaa Info centre. When picking up and renewing your pass, you need an ID and passport photo. You can pick up your pass yourself or use a power of attorney. 

N.B.! The Sporttikortti benefit is being renewed in 2026. You can get a Sporttikortti 70+ sports photocard with the current terms from Vantaa-info until March 31, 2026. Sporttikortti 70+ users can use the card for free until August 31, 2026. The validity of all Sporttikortti 70+ cards will be terminated at the end of August, regardless of the validity period marked on the card.

If you need an assistant to accompany you to the gym or swimming hall for a health reason or due to impaired functional capacity, you can apply for an assistant benefit. This means that you can have an assistant accompany you free of charge. Submit your application to the coordinator of adapted physical activities. 

Show your Sporttikortti sports pass at the checkout to get a one-off access badge. You can redeem the access badge for EUR 5,50 and use it for 12 months at a time. 

Please note that your assistant is only entitled to one-off access badges. The assistant must be an adult. 

Always carry your Sporttikortti sports pass with you. 

You must purchase an access badge (EUR 5,50) from the swimming hall checkout (with the exception of Korso Swimming Hall) to use your Sporttikortti at the senior centre gym. 12 months of training time is loaded onto the access badge. 

You need the access badge number to load more training time. Make sure to not lose the number. You can load more training time onto the access badge by showing your Sporttikortti at the Vantaa Info centre in Tikkurila, the swimming hall or the Koivukylä Senior Centre gym.

• The Sporttikortti sports pass does not entitle you to participate in guided group activities or swimming or gym slots for special groups free of charge.
