If you need an assistant at the gym or swimming hall due to health reasons or a weakened ability to function, you can apply separately for the right to an assistant. If you have the right to an assistant, an adult assistant may accompany you to the swimming hall or gym free of charge. Please note that we may require grounds for granting the right to an assistant in writing (e.g. medical report or other official document). Granting of the right to an assistant: tel. 050 314 6402 Mon–Tue and Thu at 9:00–11:00.

Please note that

  • If you have already been granted an assistant card in connection with a Sporttikortti 70+ card, you must present the assistant card at the swimming hall’s counter when getting the Sporttikortti 65+ card.
  • An EU Disability Card with the “A” symbol gives you the right to be accompanied by an adult assistant free of charge while swimming and using the gym. In this case, you do not need to separately apply for the right to an assistant for the Sporttikortti card.
