Vantaa Mayor Pekka Timonen has published his budget proposal for the year 2024. The city will continue to grow; it has managed to reduce its debt in a long-term basis; and during the next few years, Vantaa will implement several investments that will bolster the city’s vitality.

Resident survey provided more information on the problems of the Pitkäjärvi catchment area
A resident survey conducted in May collected residents' experiences of flooding and eutrophication problems in the Pitkäjärvi catchment area. The information will be utilised in a project to find solutions for the area’s problems by means of natural water management.
