The Tikkurila bus terminal is moving in February
The light rail tunnel will eventually run under the Tikkurila bus terminal, which is why the buses must move elsewhere for the duration of the construction. According to the current information, this change will take place in early February 2026.
HSL and the city will announce all changes well in advance of their beginning. There will also be clear signs placed around Tikkurila station.
Several buses will depart from the north side of Tikkurila station. In October, there was still a park-and-ride facility in the area.
The bus routes are:
619, 625, 631, 641, 711(K), 717(K), 724, 735, 736 and 999.
Some buses will depart from the south side of Tikkurila station.
The bus routes are:
571, 576, 611 and 624(N).
Bus route 570 will run along Ratatie.
Bus route 570 will run along Ratatie in both directions and stop in front of Tikkurila Travel Center for the duration of the light rail construction.
The bus terminal will return to the downstairs area of Dixi when the tunnel construction is complete and the bus terminal has been rebuilt.
