Schools on the Move
The aim of the Schools on the Move programme is to promote a culture of physical activity in basic education and support the expertise and well-being of school personnel.
Peer activities and self-guided physical exercise
All pensioners aged 60 or older can act as peer instructors in voluntary activities. You can use the recreational facilities of the City of Vantaa for self-guided activities.
Other benefits
There are also other groups that can use the swimming halls and gym facilities at a reduced price. Recipients of temporary disability pension or guarantee pension and family carers are entitled to a discount at the swimming halls and gyms of Vantaa.
Sauna, gym and swimming slots
Sauna slots for special groups offer opportunities to those who cannot use public sauna facilities due to various reasons.
Special group discount cards
Special groups’ discount cards entitle you to a discount on serial and season passes. There is a separate application process for special groups’ discount cards. Discount cards are issued on the basis of certain diseases and disabilities.
Swimming hall rules and regulations
Customers are expected to follow the general swimming hall rules and regulations. In addition to the general rules, every swimming hall enforces its own guidelines.
