The aim of the Schools on the Move programme is to promote a culture of physical activity in basic education and support the expertise and well-being of school personnel.
All pensioners aged 60 or older can act as peer instructors in voluntary activities. You can use the recreational facilities of the City of Vantaa for self-guided activities.
There are also other groups that can use the swimming halls and gym facilities at a reduced price. Recipients of temporary disability pension or guarantee pension and family carers are entitled to a discount at the swimming halls and gyms of Vantaa.
Sauna slots for special groups offer opportunities to those who cannot use public sauna facilities due to various reasons.
Special groups’ discount cards entitle you to a discount on serial and season passes. There is a separate application process for special groups’ discount cards. Discount cards are issued on the basis of certain diseases and disabilities.
