The meeting also revised the target price for Elmo swimming hall.
The City of Vantaa owns Vantaan Tilapalvelut Vantti Oy, which operates according to the in-house entity principle. The updated guidelines describe the purpose of the community's activities, the grounds of the city’s ownership, and the long-term goals set for the city and the community.
A proposal was made to increase the target price of Elmo swimming hall. Due to the revised plans, increased building cost level, and the market situation, a proposal was made to rise the €36-million target price (calculated on the basis of the reference scenario) to €44.34 million.
The meeting approved the city's Socially Sustainable Vantaa plan, that is, the Regional Program of Positive Action. The aim of the program is to bridge the wellbeing gaps between residents and residential areas. During 2023–2025, an annual sum of €2 million will be budgeted for the program.
The meeting decided to make an agreement with Vantaa Energy Ltd on implementing a seasonal heat storage below Ring Road III in Kuninkaala, which will make it possible for preparatory work on building a seasonal heat storage to begin. In addition, the city executive board decided to lease the underground premises to Vantaa Energy Ltd for fifty years.
