Cooperation
Achieving more together. The cooperation between the city’s own operators, municipalities and the voluntary sector is essential to the establishment of an active cultural approach. The Day-care Centres on the Move programme is a joint activity between the various service areas of the city. The aim is to work in even closer cooperation with different sectors. In addition, there is cooperation with the national Early Childhood Education on the Move (Liikkuva varhaiskasvatus) network and sports clubs and organisations.
Development of activities
The Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland supports the development of the Day-care Centres on the Move programme financially, allowing the programme activities to develop and expand. The activities are developed based on research and on the wishes and needs of day-care centres.
