Vantaa’s Influential Day is an annual event where the children and young people can meet the city’s decision-makers and influence the city’s activities and future.
Enrollment in sports-oriented summer camps to begin on April 1
The City of Vantaa arranges sports day camps for elementary school children in June. Enrollment in the summer camps begins on April 1, 2025.
Apply for after school activities March 27 – April 30, 2025
After school activities are for children in grades 1 and 2, as well as for older children who have a decision on special support. Apply for after school activities in Vantaa via Wilma system.
School transport application times for the 2025–2026 school year
Apply for school transportation: before March 30 (students who begin grades 7-9), before April 30 (students who begin grades 1-6), before May 30 (students who need special support).
What have we already done to promote school meals?
Vantaa has been developing school lunches already since 2019. The MUMS project helps us further promote school lunches during the course of 2025.
