Construction of the Vantaa Light Rail is ongoing on the central and northern sections of Osuustie. Next, the worksite will expand to the southern section of Osuustie. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout the construction period.
According to current plans, the worksite will expand during the week starting 23 November. Through traffic on Osuustie between Silvastintie and Väinö Tannerin tie will be discontinued. Alternative routes for vehicle traffic are available via Pakkalantie and Lentoasemantie. Pedestrian and cycling routes will remain available throughout the construction period, although the route may move from one side of the road to the other depending on the phase of the works.
Some phases of the work will cause noise, including excavation support works. Noisy work is carried out on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. For example, municipal engineering works may require activities to continue until 8 p.m. if necessary. Earplugs are available at Jumbo Library. The works have been commissioned by the City of Vantaa and are carried out by Destia.
Temporary routes during construction are shown on the map.
