The City of Vantaa Registry keeps up a register of issues under handling by the city so that the progress of their handling can be monitored. The registry enters initiated matters into the register, records incoming documents, and forwards matters to departments for preparation. You can ask the registry about the state of handling the matter as well as the name of the person processing it.

You can also ask for documents through the registry. Make a written information request and mail or email
it to the registry. The registry itself will not deliver the requested documents to the client but forwards the request to the appropriate department.

You can send documents to the registry via secure contact form, email or post. Please send sensitive or confidential material primarily through the secure contact form.

Vantaa-Info will answer the registry’s customer service phone — tel. 09 83911 — that gives general counseling about matters related to the city.

When sending an email, please make sure that you receive a confirmation of receipt in response to your message. The registry’s email sends an automatic confirmation of receipt to messages sent to the registry. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, make sure that your email went through by calling. The sender is always responsible for the delivery of any electronic messages they send (Section 8 of the Act on Electronic Services and Communication in the Public Sector).
