Building control contributes to the creation and maintenance of a healthy, safe and comfortable built environment by providing guidance and advice to designers, builders, developers and property owners.
Cadastral procedures include plot subdivisions, easement surveys and property definition procedures, such as demarcation, the partitioning of a plot, formation of a public area and coercive purchase of a missing part of a plot, as well as land exchanges in connection with the subdivision of a plot.
A local detailed plan regulates the purposes for which an area can be used and how much can be built in the area.
