Early Childhood Education
In Vantaa, Early Childhood Education is provided in day care centers, family and group family day care. For children cared for at home, there are activities in Early Childhood clubs, open day care centers and resident parks.
Art Museum Artsi
Artsi is Vantaa´s own art museum. Since 2016, Artsi has specialized in street, graffiti and performance art as part of its activities.
The Child Friendly City Initiative
The City of Vantaa is now a Child Friendly City. Finnish Committee for UNICEF granted the City of Vantaa the Child Friendly Cities recognition in January 2024.
For disabled people
Vantaa offers activities, support and events for people with disabilities.
The organisation of very advanced healthcare services and social services for people with intellectual disabilities is being planned as a part of the preparation of the health and social services reform
The municipalities of the Uusimaa region have set up a working group to prepare the organisation of social services for people with intellectual disabilities.

School Day application provides up-to-date information on students’ wellbeing - the app is being piloted in the spring
Vantaa schools will adopt the School Day app, developed for measuring and developing the wellbeing of students in grades 3 and 7.
