The planning for the Integration 2026 event has begun. We are now opening applications for the event's programme planning group. The planning group will compile the programme based on programme proposals and ideas. Integration 2026 will be held on October 28–29, 2026 at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport Congress Center in Vantaa.

The survey aims to assess interest and opportunities for working in the programme planning group of Integration 2026 according to the preliminary programme outline approved by the event's leadership team. Tasks for the various production teams will increase during spring 2026 and as the event approaches.

Expertise, diversity, and regional coverage are emphasized in the selection of members for the programme planning group

The number of participants involved in the event's programme planning is limited to keep the planning agile and to ensure the diversity of the groups. If there are more volunteers than needed for the group, priority is given to first timers, but experienced members are also welcomed so that previous years' programmes and feedback can be considered in the planning. Additionally, criteria include regional coverage, diversity of the background of organizations, commitment to participation in the programme group, and expertise on themes related to integration and refugee reception.

Participation in the planning and implementation of the event is part of one's official or work duties, and no separate compensation or fee is paid for it. Participants agree on the use of working hours with their employer. A certificate can be obtained for the work. If you are applying to join the group, make sure that you have plenty of working hours available for programme planning, especially in March, but also later in the spring.

The call for programme content and ideas will start in January 2026

The programme planning team will compile the entire event programme through the collaboration of multiple parties, based on the workshop held on December 10, the programme framework approved by the event's leadership team, and the proposals from the open call for programme ideas. A separate open call for the event's programme content will be organized, which will start in January 2026. In this call, anyone will have the opportunity to propose programme ideas, ready-made content, and speakers for the event.

Apply to join the programme planning team by Thursday, January 9, 2026. Completing the survey takes about 5 minutes.
