Vantaa tutuksi adventure routes

Follow the Vantaa tutuksi adventure routes to move in nature around Vantaa, explore new places and complete fun missions that test your physical and observational skills and knowledge.

There are six adventure routes and you can find them: in Kartanonkoski, Kivistö, Korso, Rekola, Myyrmäki and Tikkurila. The routes are a few kilometres long and suitable for all ages. You can explore the routes alone or in a group, while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Vantaa.

To complete adventure route missions, download the Seppo application and log in by entering the route’s PIN code (in the route descriptions on this page). The adventure routes were created by a working group consisting of employees of the city’s sports and fitness services.

Player instructions

Log in to the service at https://seppo.io/fi/ or download the free Seppo application from Google Play Store or Apple AppStore.
You will need at least one smart device to play the game. Make sure that your device is charged and that you have enabled location services. For more information on how to enable your device’s location services, see the Seppo user guide.
Log in as a player by entering the game's PIN code (see below) and your own or your team’s username.
The app will create a player ID for you. Take a screenshot of the screen to ensure that you can continue playing if, for example, the game crashes or you have to exit the game. Log in again by entering your player ID instead of the game PIN to continue where you left off.
The game uses a GPS signal to guide players to the mission locations. When you reach a mission location and tap the mission icon to open it. Once you have completed the mission, you can move on to the next mission location.

Description: On the Kartanonkoski adventure route, you must find hidden QR codes. Seppo takes you near the location of the first QR code (within 20 m). Look carefully – the QR codes hidden in places you might not see at first glance. When you are near enough, Seppo asks you a question and you need to find and scan the QR code to answer it. A new mission is unlocked when you complete the previous one, meaning that you cannot see the entire route in advance. This route requires quick thinking and a positive attitude!

Note! The starting point is located next to the sports park of Kartanonkoski. There are parking spaces next to the starting point. You can also reach the area on foot or by bus. If you have not scanned QR codes before, please read the instructions on the bottom of this page and test the QR code scanning function of your phone.

Description: The adventure route around the beautiful Ankkapuisto Park offers a variety of activities from physical exercise to deduction exercises and relaxation. You can take the route alone or in a group. If you have a pair of headphones on you, use them to complete mission 6. The missions unlock when you approach them. You will receive a letter for each completed mission. By the end of the route, you can use the letters to form a word. There is also an ice-age kettle hole in the Ankkapuisto Park. Can you find it?

Description: The adventure route in Rekola passes by the Matarinkoski beach and Keravanjoki and ends in the Rekola Sports Park. On this route, you can test your balance, take a quiz and send messages to other people taking the route. The route is suitable for all ages, and can be completed either alone or in a group. The missions unlock when you approach them.

Note! The starting point is located on the Matarinkoski beach.

Description: The adventure route in Myyrmäki runs along the fitness track winding around the Myyrmäki Sports Park. On the route, you can exercise, make observations and stretch your back muscles. You might even learn something new! The missions unlock when you approach them. The route is suitable for all ages, and can be completed either alone or in a group.

Location: The surroundings of the Myyrmäki Sports Park

Route length: approx. 3 km

Note! The starting point is located between the hockey arena and the athletics field.

Description: The adventure route in Tikkurila introduces you to the main sights of the area. You may already be familiar with some of them, but you might also take a fresh look at something you have overlooked before. You will also get to test your knowledge and even learn something new. The route includes physical, reasoning and quiz missions. You can complete the missions in any order you like. The missions unlock when you approach them. You only need comfortable shoes and a positive attitude!

Description: It is said that art is present everywhere in Kivistö. Follow this adventure route to find out whether this statement is true and what other treasures the area has to offer. In addition to art spotting, this route includes physical, reasoning and quiz missions. There is certainly something for everyone, and the route is suitable for all ages. You can complete the missions alone or in a group. Please note that the adventure route in Kivistö is the longest of the available routes. The missions unlock when you approach them.

Location: The centre of Kivistö

Route length: approx. 3.5 km

Number of tasks: 23

Note! The starting point is located in the Topaasiaukio square. However, you can also start from any other location in the area. The mission locations have been numbered.
