Private day care allowance
A family can receive private day care allowance from Kela to pay for private day care. This allowance can the paid right after the parental allowance term has ended.
Evening and round-the-clock care
Evening and round-the-clock care is organised for families who need care for the children also in the evening/overnight due to the work or evening studies of one or both parents.

Pre-primary education’s school year plan
When planning the pre-primary education for groups of children on the basis of the national pre-primary education curriculum and the Vantaa pre-primary education curriculum, the strengths, needs and interests of each child group will be taken into account.

Two-year pre-primary education trial
Vantaa was part of a national two-year pre-primary education trial, where some children started pre-primary education at the age of 5.
Early Childhood Education Clubs
Early childhood education clubs are meant for 2.5-5-year-old Vantaa children who are in home care. The clubs take place on 1-3 days per week and they last for 2-3 hours per day. Children participate in the clubs without their guardians. Club activities are free of charge. Participating in club
