Welcome to Vantaa Vocational College Varia! We offer vocational education for young people, adults and organizations in several different fields.
After-school, club and hobby activities
Primary schools around Vantaa offer after-school activities as well as club activities. Also day and holiday activities for disabled children.

Language, culture and world view awareness in early childhood education and care
In Vantaa, the objective of language, culture and belief awareness in early childhood education and care is to support the development of each child's linguistic, cultural and religious or ethical background and to guide the children to appreciate and respect the different languages, cultures
Preparatory teaching for basic education
Preparatory teaching is provided for children and young people who are not proficient enough in Finnish language to study in a group taught in Finnish.
Flexible basic education
Flexible basic education allows for studying alternatingly at school and in a workplace. The studies also include excursions, visits to educational institutes, and school camps. A youth counsellor also works in the class with the teacher. The groups have ten students.
Syllabus of Finnish as a second language (S2)
Teaching of Finnish as a second language (S2) is available to students who do not have native-level Finnish language skills.
Teaching of the student's native tongue
Vantaa provides teaching of a student's own native tongue, home language and maintained language for two hours per week.
