Varia on mukana eurooppalaisessa ammatillisen koulutuksen kehittämisverkostossa Network of Networks (https://partnersin.vet/), jossa 49 oppilaitosta Hollannista, Iso-Britanniasta, Baskimaasta (Espanjasta) ja Suomesta jakaa hyviä käytäntöjä ja esimerkkejä. Learning outcome: The Digital Transitions webinar will be a collaborative learning experience in which participants will learn about the increasing impact of digitisation in

• transnational mobility
• learning and teaching of VET students
• skills for VET teachers

Structure of webinar: The Digital Transitions webinar has three parts

• Introductory session (15 minutes): including information on relevant EU tools and developments
• Breakout sessions (45 minutes): a choice of three workshops at which participants will hear about relevant experiences and discuss the implications for their own practice and institutions.
• Plenary session (30 minutes): sharing of three key points from each breakout session followed by further discussion and mutual learning on digital transitions.

Breakout Sessions: information on each workshop, including the target audience is listed below

1. Digital and Blended Mobility in VET

This session is aimed at International coordinators and organisers of transnational student and staff mobility projects. Participants will hear about experience from Spain (Egibide School) and Netherlands (Deltion College), and be encouraged to share their own experiences while considering the possibilities and implications of increasing digitisation for mobility.

2. Digital/Blended Learning in VET

This session will share practical examples of digital learning from colleagues in Spain (SEAS: Estudios Superiores Abiertos Online) and United Kingdom (Virtual College). Participants will discuss which lessons may be learned from these examples of practice and how they may be applied more widely.

3. Digital Skills for VET Teachers

This session is aimed at VET teachers and teacher trainers and will introduce participants to collaborative projects supported by last year’s EU call for proposals for Partnerships for Digital Readiness. These projects will be led by partners from Northern Ireland and Scotland, and will involve VET schools from other national networks. It is anticipated that hearing about them will stimulate further discussion on the implications of digitisation for the skills and training of VET teachers.

Introductory and Plenary Sessions: These will be animated by Paul Guest, who has worked with a number of the grassroots VET institutions in the Network of Networks. Those who are familiar with Paul’s approach will know that he encourages questions and stimulates deeper thinking on Current and future policy and practice in VET.
